 Can Téa Help Todd?

Maybe his ex-wife can smack some sense into Manning?
Look for Florencia Lozano to make her ONE LIFE TO LIVE return as Todd's ex-wife, Téa, on Friday, December 5. "I'm looking forward to exploring the Todd/Téa dynamic while keeping the undeniable Blair/Todd chemistry," Trevor St. John (Todd) posted on his blog. "Todd's a lucky, lucky guy!"

 The Knight Goes On!

 See Ya, Sarah!

Bolding wasn't surprised that Sarah would be following Tina out of town.
Justis Bolding (Sarah, ONE LIFE TO LIVE) confirms that she will soon be leaving Llanview. "I've seen it coming for six months or so," she confesses to Soaps In Depth. A final air date for the young star has not yet been announced, but we'll let you know as soon as it is!

 Tina Takes Off!

This princess is fading into the background.
Andrea Evans' six-month return as ONE LIFE TO LIVE's Tina will come to an end on Tuesday, November 25. "I had a fabulous time," she says, "and [I] certainly hope that the chance to take on the role manifests itself again."

Adds OLTL executive producer Frank Valentini: "ABC and OLTL were thrilled to have Andrea reprise [her] role after 18 years. Her return was made possible with the understanding that it would be short-term, as [her] life, family and home are on the West Coast. OLTL did not ask that she move across the country in order for her to return to the show. The character of Tina is a very important part of the OLTL canvas, and when there is an opportunity to have her and Andrea return, the show would be happy to explore it."

 Lucci's Done Dancing!

Lucci has one less job this morning.
After watching seven competitors take their last spins on the dancer floor, Susan Lucci (Erica, ALL MY CHILDREN) learned on Wednesday night that she and her dancing partner, Tony Dovolani, were leaving DANCING WITH THE STARS. “I feel fine,” Lucci told Soaps In Depth immediately after taping ended. “I really do. I had a feeling it might be me tonight.”

The actress adds she couldn’t think of a better way to end her tenure with the reality competition than by doing a paso doble with Dovolani on Monday night. “The audience was on its feet,” she recalls. “We danced [as] Zorro and Esperanza. This is the best time to go!”

Dovolani has nothing but praise for his student. “I’m extremely proud of Susan and how she handled the entire experience. She flew back and forth [between New York and Los Angeles] and did two jobs. I also have to thank her husband, Helmut Huber, for being an incredible person and helping us [both] through this.”

Lucci likely will return for the season’s final two episodes on Monday, November 24, and Tuesday, November 25, for one more dance and to watch the winner take home the mirrorball trophy. Might we see Erica Kane take a twirl around the dance floor on AMC? “I think the fans would love to see that,” says Lucci, especially, she adds, if Erica is also taught by Dovolani!

 War Vet Debuts!

If Brot seems like an authentic soldier, it’s because he is!
The victor in a national talent search for a real-life soldier to play Taylor’s presumed-dead fiancé, Brot, Iraq War veteran JR Martinez makes his ALL MY CHILDREN debut on Friday, November 7. "We are honored and delighted to welcome JR to the cast," says AMC executive producer Julie Hanan Carruthers. "JR represents the best of the human spirit. His commitment to help his fellow servicemen and women and their families has inspired us all. JR's challenging journey and resilience will bring a uniquely authentic perspective to the role of Brot."

Martinez served three months in Iraq before the Humvee he was driving hit a landmine. Nearly half of his body was severely burned, and his injuries meant 34 months in the hospital and 32 different surgeries. Martinez is now a national spokesperson for the Coalition To Salute America’s Heroes, which supports wounded members of the armed forces.

On Monday, November 10, AMC will air a special episode featuring real-life Iraq War veterans in a series of unscripted support-group scenes in which the soldiers share their stories.

 What Will Happen To Emmy?

Will fans be able to watch the Daytime Emmys at all?
In a move that shocked the daytime community, a CBS spokesperson has confirmed that the network has decided not to broadcast the 2009 Daytime Emmy Awards, leaving fans and industry insiders alike wondering what will become of next year's ceremony. (NBC had taken themselves out of the broadcast rotation years ago.) "As 2009 was scheduled to be CBS's year to host the Daytime Emmys, ABC had not anticipated or planned on doing the award show," says a spokesperson for the network. "At this time neither ABC nor SOAPnet has plans to broadcast the event.”

 See Ya, Jerry!

Playing the bad boy was a dead end for Roche.
Soaps In Depth has learned that Sebastian Roché (Jerry) has been let go from GENERAL HOSPITAL. The character will make a mysterious exit on Tuesday, November 11. Roche joined the cast in January 2007 as ruthless mercenary James Craig, the mastermind behind the Metro Court hostage crisis, but was soon after revealed to be Jax's brother.
