Charleson Bumped!
Charleson's contract has been dropped.
Soaps In Depth has learned that Leslie Charleson (Monica) has been taken off contract and is now a recurring player with GENERAL HOSPITAL. Charleson, who has four Emmy nominations under her belt, joined the soap over 30 years ago, but her screentime has dwindled since the death of her on-screen husband, Alan, played by Stuart Damon, in 2007. An ABC spokesperson reminds that the soap does not comment on contract status.

Stone Visits Robin!
No Stone goes unturned for Robin.
GENERAL HOSPITAL's Robin is about to be reunited with her first love, Stone! Michael Sutton will reprise the role for two episodes beginning Tuesday, September 28, when Stone appears to a delirious Robin. According to a GH rep, as Robin's life hangs in jeopardy, Stone gives her the will to live for both herself and daughter Emma. Also expect the former couple to talk about their relationship, finally bringing Robin a sense of closure for both Stone's death and her own HIV-positive status. Sutton left GH in 1995 when Stone tragically died of AIDS -- a storyline which won the soap accolades and garnered the actor an Emmy nomination.
LoCicero Has A Situation On Her Hands!
Make no BONES about it, we can't wait to see this episode!
Be sure to tune in to the Thursday, October 7, episode of the FOX crime drama BONES — GENERAL HOSPITAL's Lisa LoCicero (Olivia) will be a guest-star! The actress will play Janine Genaro — a woman described in the casting breakdown as a REAL HOUSEWIFE OF NEW JERSEY meets Victoria Gotti — whose son, wannabe fitness guru Ritchie "The V" Genaro, is murdered. "They're trying to get The Situation to play my son," LoCicero tells Soaps In Depth, referring to THE JERSEY SHORE star Mike Sorrentino. "Lord help me!"
UPDATE: While negotiations fell through between FOX and The Situation, Antonio Sabato Jr. (ex-Jagger, GH) has been cast in the episode, titled "The Maggots In The Meathead," as a guido bouncer at a Jersey Shore nightclub.
