Dubious of the new Dare line that Eric and Ridge had pitched, Katie sought Jarrett’s opinion on the designs. Hearing what he had to say convinced Katie that she was right to be mistrustful. Meanwhile, Ridge worried that Brooke’s guilt about lying to her sister would ruin the family’s plan to reclaim the company. His fears were confirmed when, after Katie confronted the blonde about a possible mutiny, Brooke broke down and admitted that the new line had been purposefully designed to fail! Though she begged Katie not to tell Bill about the family’s scheme, Katie stayed loyal to her husband and spilled what she’d found out. Hearing about the trickery, a furious Bill called a company meeting at which he gave the family a shocking ultimatum. Later, he told Katie that he wanted nothing to do with her family in the future. Worse, he admitted to questioning her own loyalty! A fiery argument ensued, and though Katie ran straight into the arms of her sisters, it was mostly so that she could blame them for her marital woes! For her part, Steffy told her clan just how much she hates Katie and the other Logan girls, then went to Bill and made it clear she couldn’t stand him, either!
Katie Uses Hope!
Despite their problems, Bill and Katie arrived back at Forrester as a united front. This caught everyone off guard… especially Steffy! Later, Hope’s opinion of Brooke and Ridge’s uncomfortable position at Forrester gave the couple new insight into how they can rectify their state of affairs. Though Hope was the inspiration for the new takeover scheme, a jealous Steffy wasn’t thrilled to be working alongside her when Katie offered the teen an internship with the company! Sensing the tension between the stepsisters, Brooke assured Steffy that Hope posed no threat. The assurance didn’t satisfy Steffy, who demanded that Ridge choose which of his daughters should continue working at Forrester! Hearing that everyone from Brooke to Taylor was contemplating the choice, Hope pulled Steffy aside and promised that she wouldn’t get in the way. Meanwhile, unbeknownst to any of the family, a vengeful Katie pitched a new line and passed it off as Hope’s idea! The executive then told Brooke and Donna that while she could forgive their betrayal, she wasn’t ready to ease up on Steffy. Taylor’s daughter presented an idea and was furious when Katie opted to go with the one supposedly dreamed up by Hope!
Sandy Makes A Confession!
Suspicious of Whip’s connection to Sandy, Brooke interrogated him as to why he and his cousin had been hiding their connection and why they were suddenly involved in Bridget’s life. Meanwhile, hearing more discouraging news about her rape case, Sandy was plagued with paralyzing memories of the night she had been assaulted. Upon realizing that hers wasn’t the only rape kit that had been left unprocessed, Sandy’s fear turned to anger, prompting her to vow revenge against her attacker. Although she later told Whip about her rape and his unintentional role in the attack as a way of facing the issue head-on, she reminded Nick that she wanted Bridget to be left in the dark about the situation.

Katie was uncomfortable to witness yet another affectionate moment between her husband and Steffy! Reading about the suspension of the Dare line, Jackie asked Owen to check in on Steffy. Ridge was surprised when his mom filled him in on Taylor’s personal life.
